Upon arrival at Alyeska, be sure to visit one of the Mountain Hosts. They offer a free daily Mountain Tour. This is an excellent way to gain knowledge of the terrain, trails and resort; plus they can inform you of events happening in the area.
Breathtaking Wilderness
Alaska has some of the most picturesque wilderness. The best way to see it is with a Flightseeing Tour. Board a helicopter to view breathtaking glaciers, Lake George Valley, and Chugach backcountry. It will take your breath away!
Aurora Borealis
At Aleyska, you can witness the fantastical visuals of the Northern Lights (weather permitting). Dress warm and witness the spectacular color patterns in the sky. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Inupiat Eskimo Villages
Then, take a day trip to one of the Inupiat Eskimo Villages for a polar bear sighting or ride the Alyeska Aerial Tram to view the top of Mt. Aleysak and miles of Alaskan wilderness.
If you prefer to stay within the resort area, there is lots of skiing/snowboarding, along with snowmobile tours, snow cats, and dog sledding runs.
